What We Offer
At Back To Life™ we want your experience with us to be pleasant, comfortable and expeditious.
We invite you to contact us and schedule a consultation to start the process.
You will then receive directions to our Centre and a detailed procedure explanation.
Upon arrival at our Centre in The Rosebank Hospital, Johannesburg, you will be met by one of our trained consultants, who will walk you through the full process, answering any questions you may have.
One of our Medical Specialist Doctors will then examine you to accurately diagnose the most appropriate procedure, since Back To Life™ provides several different pain relief services depending on your personal symptoms and neurology.
All procedures will be conducted on site, in comfort and by very capable hands.
For CT Scan guided injections, the patients is asked to recline on a comfortable table that slides into a large open circular ring, not a claustrophobic tunnel.
For Fluoroscopic X-ray guided injections, patients lie down on a comfortable open table with an X-ray tube and detector on either side.
The Doctor will administer an injection of local-anaesthetic at the marked site on the skin.
He will then guide a very fine needle into the target site, watching the needle-tip progress in real-time on the display screen.
The medication, a combination of long-acting local anaesthetic and special cortisone, is injected and the needle is immediately removed.
You can expect to return home after 15 minutes observation.
